      It's mean and moody, a veritable object of desire. The Honda S2000 has always been admired for its predatory looks, its fast and frenetic 2.0 litre 240 PS engine, its short-shift six speed gearbox, and the super rigid "high X-bone" chassis frame.

It's a combination of characteristics that has kept demand ahead of supply for both new and used examples (a recent CAP report cites the S2000 as having one of the highest residual values of all cars, second only to the Porsche Boxster).

      The driving experience remains much as before. There's still that amazing 240 PS 2.0 litre VTEC engine delivering power to the rear wheels via close-ratio six-speed transmission and torque-sensing limited slip differential. The steering has electric power assistance, while the ABS anti-lock brakes have Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD). And the suspension retains race-car style double wishbones, with coil springs and anti-roll bars at both ends.

Spring rates have been increased, anti-roll bar stiffness reduced and the gas-filled dampers recalibrated. The changes have been made to improve steering feel and handling progression at the limit, while maintaining the response, grip and balance of the original S2000.
    The net result is a car that's just as quick and responsive, but one that's easier to drive at the limit and more forgiving of error. The changes are particularly beneficial on the road, where corners may tighten or be subject to camber changes.

No history of accident, and has passed the stringent Government approved SVA test.
